Hi, I'm Sam, a Philly local with over 15 years experience as a software engineer. I love blending creativity with technical skills (and plenty of coffee) to bring clients' visions to life. I started Mural City Web Design to feed my passion for web design and help small businesses stand out in a crowded digital world. Mural City is Philadelphia, in case the name is throwing you. There are over 4,000 murals here, most of them painted on the side of some regular corner building where a business is running downstairs. I believe a great website doesn't just look good. How It Works

You fill out a short questionnaire that gives me enough context to get started. I design the site and write the copy myself, then we go back and forth until you're happy with it. Once you approve the design, I build it. That takes 2-4 weeks for a standard website, counting from when your content is in my hands.

Questions About a New Website

Do you use a page builder like Wordpress or WIX?

Nope! We custom code our websites from scratch specifically for you. We believe in providing a high quality solution end-to-end from what the site looks like and how it’s structured and performs. The latter helps with SEO, ranking and user experience, which isn’t something easily achieved with a page builder.

I already have a website, can you just use that instead of building a new one?

No, we start our process from scratch intentionally to ensure we can deliver a high quality, custom built website that has everything in place to be an effective tool for your business.

How long does it take to design and develop my website?

The process generally takes between 2-4 weeks depending on how quickly we get the necessary information from you (i.e. information about your business, image requests etc), availability of our designer and content creator, and number of revisions.

What if I want more than 5 pages?

No problem! We can build as many pages as you need. Each additional page is a one-time fee of $100.

Can I cancel my subscription package?

Yes, anytime. There is no minimum term and no cancellation fee. You pay for the month you're in, and nothing after that.
