I continue to monitor changes in best practices, factors in SEO and how Google ranks sites etc and apply them to your website. This falls under the lifetime support and maintenance. The web is ever evolving, so your website needs a little TLC to keep up. If you purchase the lump sum package, lifetime support and maintenance is available as an add-on to keep your website updated.

Web standards and SEO ranking guidelines from companies like Google periodically change. We keep your website current and up-to-date with the latest changes in technologies, security standards and structure to ensure it remains a functional and effective tool for your business.

Unlimited edits mean you can request as many changes to your website’s content as you need and we’ll handle them for you. This does not include changes to the website design, complete redesigns or new website builds. That said, we’re pretty flexible and want to make sure you’re happy with your website, so feel free to reach out.

These are two family businesses in the Philadelphia area, a commercial printer and a moving and storage company, both more than a century old. Whatever your industry, the approach is the same. I hand-code the site around how your business works, so it loads fast and your customers can find it.

How It Works

You fill out a short questionnaire that gives me enough context to get started. I design the site and write the copy myself, then we go back and forth until you're happy with it. Once you approve the design, I build it. That takes 2-4 weeks for a standard website, counting from when your content is in my hands.

Questions About Hosting, Edits and Support

Is hosting included in both packages?

Yes, hosting is included in both packages. In the subscription package, it’s part of the $150/month fee. In the lump sum package, hosting is $25/month

How do I request changes to my website after it's launched?

Send an email to info@muralcitywebdesign.com letting us know what you want changed and we make it happen.

Do I need to pay extra for edits after my website is live?

Subscription clients enjoy unlimited edits as part of their monthly fee. Lump sum clients can request edits at an additional cost or by adding the $50/month maintenance add-on.

Can I make edits to the website myself rather than using you?

We handle any edits on your behalf so you can focus on your business, not maintaining a website. If you prefer to do it yourself that’s perfectly ok too, we can wire-up a secure section for handling edits and grant you access to it.

I already have a website, can you just use that instead of building a new one?

No, we start our process from scratch intentionally to ensure we can deliver a high quality, custom built website that has everything in place to be an effective tool for your business.

Can I cancel my subscription package?

Yes, anytime. There is no minimum term and no cancellation fee. You pay for the month you're in, and nothing after that.
